I have never ever bothered to write a review about anything online, but this place is truly a fantastic place to bring your vehicle for repairs. Always super friendly and easy going, they seem to always be able to take a look at my car the same day I bring it in (without an appointment!) and make the whole experience hassle free,But MOST importantly, they take care of me. It seems they are always looking out for my best interest and not their own bottom line. I have had a really problematic V W Beetle with an itchy check engine light and a nervous wife who needs everything to look and run perfect, so I have been in to see them at least a dozen times in the last 12 months. Each time they give me an honest appraisal of what is wrong and whether it really needs to be fixed or not. They have never repaired anything that wasn't absolutely necessary and have even caught loads of extra little problems that they fixed for free since they were easy and didn't need parts!! I don't know any mechanic except for a close friend or relative that would do that for their customers...it's like stepping back into the 1950's when people really cared about the job that they did.I would have my car towed from nearly anywhere in Washington state to have it repaired here and am really thankful to have discovered them!!PS: Just read the two bad reviews on here (one from when it was owned by a previous owner) and wanted to comment: No one gets it perfect every single time and these guys are so busy that sometimes they are not extremely pro-active about notifiying me when parts arrive. But everytime there has been a problem after they fixed the car (usually something new that was contributing to the main problem), they have always taken it right back in and sorted everything out. When this happens they don't even charge me labor, just parts. To me it's not that there are never ever any problems or mistakes, it's how they handle them when there are.I also noticed that in both bad reviews the customer had to take a day off or rent a replacement car and I can completely understand how that might make any problem seem that much worse.

I have used there guys for the past two years are they have been really amazing. They do great work and have been really honest and have saved me tons of money. Prices are reasonable and they even gave me a payment plan after one of my big repairs when I couldn't it all at once....not to mention the two main mechanics are pretty easy on the eyes as well. Nothing like some eye candy when getting my car fixed. (there ya go Nate, you told me to recommend you guys so...I did)

Marqueen Garage fixed the heater in my van, and they fixed a friends car. I will go back when more repairs are needed. In the past I've done my own auto repair but not anymore for the important stuff. It's nice to have a connection with a reliable auto repair shop because when you need them, you need them! They aren't super expensive nor are they cheap, but they get the job done and they are nice people.

still a fan of this spot - they do provide the lowest estimates on some other problem's i've had with my POS since my first posting. the one knock i can think of is that they might be overcharging me for oil changes ($65)...

I really like how honest these guys are! Always a very reasonable experience compared to the dealership!

Marqueen has the best mechanics, prices and service. I've taken my car there for 3 years now and don't plan on ever going anywhere else!

I had to divorce our mechanic on Capitol Hill after twenty years because I ended up begging for an appointment. We were some of their oldest customers and had send many people there but it was getting silly to the point of ridiculous to have to call back to pay them to see to our vehicles.Marqueen had checked out a used car for us when Kurt owned it and he was a terrific guy and really helped us out. Now it's new ownership but wholly as reliable. We called our old mechanic when we were going to buy a new used rig this summer and he was going to charge us $100 to have it checked out plus additional for a compression check. We called Marqueen and they said $90 for the whole deal. When he checked it out he only charged $40 it was only four years old and in pretty good shape. What a great way to convince us they were our new mechanics. We have a Toyota and a Volks and they do well by both. Straight up crew. What a pleasant thing to talk to the front office and have her say "when would you like to bring it in?" instead of begging for them to make time and having to call back for an appointment. Get a good doctor, a good dentist, a good accountant and a good mechanic and hey you are set!

I never expected a garage in such a convenient location to have good service at a fair price. I never used to get my car repaired without getting a second opinion but I've finally found a place that I can trust. No second opinions needed and I don't have to go to the Volvo dealership!

Okay, mechanics are scary. Especially if you are a girl like me... who knows NOTHING about cars, or what "feels right" or "feels wrong" or, does the car really NEED a new transmission? Or is that optional?I've dealt with my fair share of mechanics. ALL of them have tried to pull the wool over my eyes. My most recent story: Went to go get my oil changed at "Oil Change Shop ABC" (cause it's close to my office) and they told me i need new brakes or my car may cause me to get in a wreck... and asked me if i wanted them to do them right then and there. i said i'd have to 'think about it' as the guy hard sells me even more. What i really meant was, 'i'm taking the car to Marqueen to see what's up."Low and behold, Nate at Marqueen said my brakes were perfect. That is the kind of place Marqueen is. A girl like me who knows nothing of cars can actually TRUST these guys. When something is wrong, they will fix it and not try to sell me anything else. They don't screw with their customers, cause the customer will find out. My car needed some stuff done to it last time and they had it fixed the SAME DAY i dropped it off. They even fixed something else wrong with it for me for the price of the part only, i think because Nate felt so bad for me for having such a piece of shit car (Hyundai Santa Fe).Basically, these guys rock. If you're looking for an honest, reliable, fast, affordable, and awesome mechanic, head here. Even if you're way up in Lynnwood or Tacoma. It's SO worth the drive!
